Dear Chloe,
You are always there for me. You help me write every paper for school. You support me simply by always being near me, next to me, close to me. You keep me warm in spirit and in lap. You are ever loving, always attentive and you never ask for more than a bowl of food, a bowl of clean water, a brisk walk outside (thank gosh for Daddy) and a warm place to lay. When I graduate I know I will think of all the hours you have logged with me…studying. These hours are challenging but oh so very priceless as you never leave my side. Sometimes I want to throw in the towel and go do something else with my time, but then I glance down at you and you make me smile long enough to regain focus again. You are the sweetest dog I have ever known. I would not want to do all of this without you. I love you!
Mommy
p.s. I will get you an honorary diploma….I really will.

Good work, Chloe.
I know how hard it can be to keep on keeping on, and I know how the unconditional love of a pet can motivate you. My Millie deserves an honorary masters degree.
Then make Millie a degree.
I can order an honorary degree that’s much like a “thanks for your ongoing support in helping me reach my goal to graduate” for anyone. Chloe’s getting one…even though she can’t read!!!
Pets are amazing and can sense every emotion you have I swear. I had a crappy week and stayed home to “wallow” (someone else’s word not mine) ans he simply sat near me for the two whole days - sighing appropirately to fit my mood and putting her head in my lap when I needed it most. Forget the diploma - get Chloe a nice steak bone from the butcher!
