Chloes not just a silent little lap dog. She’s very playful and loves to play ‘Don’t you dare take my toy or I’ll turn into a Rottweiler!” WHAT A MEAN DOG!!

  2. Dear Chloe,

Dear Chloe   You are always there for me.  You help me write every paper for school.  You support me simply by always being near me, next to me, close to me.  You keep me warm in spirit and in lap.  You are ever loving, always attentive and you never ask for more than a bowl of food, a bowl of clean water, a brisk walk outside (thank gosh for Daddy) and a warm place to lay.  When I graduate I know I will think of all the hours you have logged with me…studying.  These hours are challenging but oh so very priceless as you never leave my side.  Sometimes I want to throw in the towel and go do something else with my time, but then I glance down at you and you make me smile long enough to regain focus again.  You are the sweetest dog I have ever known.  I would not want to do all of this without you.  I love you!

    Mommy

p.s. I will get you an honorary diploma….I really will.

I can’t wait for it to arrive. I’m switching jobs with the University and I plan to make my lunches and save money. Not because my pay is changing…I just want to change the way I’m doing things.

  4. not yet (poem)

it’s the last day of school

    knowing you are going

    but you can’t leave yet

    it’s the moment when

    you’re told, “it’s over”

    knowing that it is

    but you can’t grieve yet

it’s the coldest day in march

knowing that it will get warmer

    but it isn’t warm yet

    i’m ready to go

    grieve

    let go

    but i can’t …not yet

I love that my grandmother still sends my son Valentines.

She also sends Halloween cards, Christmas cards, Thanksgiving cards…etc.etc.etc.etc.
