ahoy work escapades
Now that I work in the marketing department of the best college in the world….I am often tasked with the craziest things ever. We’re currently utilzing a “pirate” theme to motivate our department to perform etc. Motivation is hard to come by, but we try to make things fun. We play games and we have decorated the entire office with pirate gear.
This morning I was asked (or tasked?) to go and retreive breakfast for the entire crew of matey’s. (We all have assigned Pirate names…and we speak pirate speak as often as humanly possible…) This morning there were emails flying about regarding “grub” for the ship.
Why is it that when you are the peron going to retreive food for an entire group of peeps at work….there’s always that one scallywag who freaking orders a drink when everyone else is kind enough to just order a sandwich (easily portable).
That one cup of hot coffee was nearly the death of me.
I should make that pirate walk the plank. garrrrrrrrr
This ship is so much fun….truly I mean that. We have fun where I work. Massive amounts…I love August where I work….it’s the bee’s knees.

sorry i havent been over in so long. i truly mean that, because ive been wanting to come over for a longg time. i had to go to promice keepers again this year, it only comes around once a year. that took friday saterday and sunday up. then the next week, we wen’t on vacation to key west. i had alot of fun there, but i did miss you very much. well, try and give me a call this weekend sometime. whenever you wan’t me to come over.
im not nearly in the best mood right now, and at the moment, graphic design is the only thing keeping me from thinking about things. but if you havent read it on my myspace, my bestfriend audrey is moving to illinous, and it’s really hurting me right now. because i do in fact love her as a friend. i don’t know what im going to do. although dad did tell her if anything happens, she is alloud to come live with us. but, i don’t know whats going to happen in the long run. hanging out with you should deffinatly get my mind off of things.

For a while, whenever my in-laws became bossy about our wedding plans, my husband and I would talk loudly about having a pirate-themed wedding, where he would put a ring on my hook, and we would “walk the plank” together.
